Stephen Jackson took the stand on Monday, giving his testimony of how the whole bar-shooting went down.
Jackson and ex-teammate Jamaal Tinsley took the witness stand during a bench trial in Marion Superior Court for a man accused of hitting Jackson with a car during the Oct. 6 fight outside Club Rio.
Jackson, who now plays for the Golden State Warriors, testified that when he was walking from the club to his car, a man approached him shouting, “Go ahead and dump, dump!”
“Where I’m from, ‘dump’ means pull out your gun and shoot,” he said.
Funny. Where I’m from, “go ahead and dump, dump” means give me some air freshener, a magazine, and I’ll see you in 20-30 minutes. It sure as hell doesn’t mean pull your piece out and shoot me.
Dean Wilford, who’s accused of running Stephen Jackson over, did what any normal person would do: run Stephen Jackson over. The man had a gun, and was also with Jamaal Tinsley, who doesn’t exactly have the best track record at bars.
